What Is Ariix?

If you want to know what is Ariix you are at the right place. We are going to talk a lot about Ariix here today because its founders and corporate leaders are using an old MLM strategy but putting a new spin on the concept.

Ariix and its owners are trying something different in order to make themselves rich and their company a respected business even though they stick to the MLM strategy of direct sales.

It certainly doesn’t help their image nor their reputation when the founders came from an established MLM company and formed their own. That is part of what we will talk about in this article.

mlm hierarchy

To get the full scoop on this MLM corporation all you have to do is spend a little time sipping your nice warm cup of coffee and read this article. It won’t take you long to do that. What you get in return is a lot of information that can help you or a loved one avoid being employed by yet another MLM company.

One thing Ariix has going for it is a very slick website that should impress just about anyone who visits it. This website is standard fare talking about their vision, their goals, where their offices are and their leaders among other topics.

You have to be careful because it is a very professional looking, responsive website that is bound to hook unwary visitors.

Becoming successful in an MLM company is not an easy task!

You have to be at a top and and always recruit new members. You also have to pay for the monthly or yearly membership fees. MLM is something I tried and had very little success at.

This is one of the reasons why I turned to affiliate marketing. Here, I just blog about the things I like or dislike and make money from visitors that come to my website.

Who Started Ariix

When answering the question what is Ariix you have to start at the beginning and look at who founded or owns the company. In this case there are more than just one or two founders. In fact there are 7 of them and their names are - Fred Cooper, Mark Wilson, Jeff Yates, Riley Timmer, Deanna Latson, Harry Zhang, and Ian Chandler.

This number of founders is not a red flag per se. You can have 10 or 20 founders if you want. What raises a red flag is that all 7 of these people came from USANA and they were all senior executives at that company.

The transition came in 2011 when these people left USANA to form Ariix. Usana was and is a very established MLM corporation that was and is doing quite well. This mass departure of senior executives can say one thing about USANA or another about the this group of executives. Something was wrong with either group or... you take a shot.

In forming this company the group of 7 also established a scientific board. This board is supposed to help them with development of product and other scientific issues that need to be taken care of.

There are 4 members on this board and they are said to collaborate closely with the founders. This board is supposed to give Arrix some credibility and legitimacy. There is also a wellness and athletes counsel and the most famous member of the latter would be Wally Joyner who was a successful professional baseball player.

As the company took off, these founders eventually established 9 global offices located in such places as America, South Korea and even Hong Kong. This is quite an achievement for only being in existence for 8 years.

Why did these experience people stay with the MLM concept when they left USANA? It was because they wanted to keep their costs down. Those reduced costs also include government mandated payments like social security and other mandatory pay check deductions.

About Arrix

When figuring out an answer to what is Ariix a visit to their company’s motivation, slogan and other key driving factors is necessary. This company markets itself as the opportunity company and they define that term like this “ your ability to unleash your human potential for good through obtaining and cultivating Strong Finances.”

It is nice hype and a feel good slogan but that is about it. The new spin that we mentioned earlier is the founders market strategy. Instead of creating their own products like many other MLM corporations do, Ariix buys out other MLM companies and use their products to make their money.

What this strategy does is provide those agents who sign up with a diverse amount of products that help them sell better to their customers. Then the founders created a bill of rights that help protect their employees.

really sign

This bill of rights while marketed as something special is very generic and meant to help convince people to sign up. There are 11 ‘rights’ in all and how they are implemented is not known. There is no further information on these rights or how employees can access them on the web page.

The first ‘right’ is a partners council. But all that group does is just be what the company calls a mouthpiece for you when you disagree with what the company has done to you.

hard work

They are the eyes and ears of the company and there is a partner’s council at the 9 global offices. They may or may not advocate you as they work hand in hand with corporation on big decisions .

The company’s layout and corporate structure is as slick as their website.

The Products Arrix Sales

We will start with the good news first. The company does have a 30 day money back guarantee policy. There is no mention if it is a no questions ask policy or if there are a lot of hoops to jump through before you see your money again.

Also, they have an encrypted checkout system using the SSL method. The company claims that your credit card information is 100% protected and we will leave it at that.

There are a lot of products available on the Arrix website product page. Some of the ones are listed under the following categories- Minerals,Vitamins, Rejuveniix, Omega-Q, Vinali, Biopro Q, Restoriix, PureNourish, Puritii, Slenderiix, Xceler8,  Magnical-D, MOA.

That is a lot of products their agents can market and sell for the company. Trying to find a price for those product is another story. Just one product we looked up cost $70 for less than 60 soft gel tablets.

We can imagine what the other products cost. We did find one interesting statement on the company’s product page. It went like this: “NO GLUTEN - NO SOY - NO DAIRY - NO GMO, NO ARTIFICIAL FLAVORS - NO ARTIFICIAL COLORS - NO ARTIFICIAL SWEETENERS - NO SUGARS NO BINDERS - NO FILLERS

It probably would have been easier to list what is in those products. What the company did say about there products was a very generic and non committal statement that claimed the products were unique, high quality that would meet consumer demand in the health and wellness sector.

In other words, they are not going to tell you what they put in their products. While the concept of buying other MLM companies’ products is smart, the consumer is not getting anything different than what those companies already offered - very little for a very high cost.

Signing Up At Ariix

At least this company is not secretive about enrolling as an representative. You have two choices when you sign up. You can select being a customer but that is not a good selection for the purpose of this article. Or you can sign up as a representative.

what is ariix

When you choose the latter you are sent to a page to select the country you want to sign up under. After making your selection, you are sent to a purchase page. The company of course checks the level with the most expensive products to buy.

You can change your entry level but you still have to pay anywhere from $60 approx to over $2,100. Your purchase also gets you some points. 40 to 1500. The key is you cannot sign up if you do not purchase as we were sent to the check out before we supplied any personal information.

It seems that on top of your purchase you need to pay a $400 start up fee but we may not have gone far enough to see that requirement. The other thing you have to watch out for is that while Ariix talks a lot about their bill of rights, they do not seem to say much on training and support.

In other words, those bill of rights may only be ‘rights’ in name only. Signing up seems to be one way for the 7 founders to make more money.

Can You Make Money At Ariix?

This is a toss up. Some people claim that it is possible for lower echelon representatives can make about $244 a month. Supervisors are lucky to pull down about $579 each month and the manager makes roughly $1,000.

broke guy

Keep in mind that you are asked to pay a lot of money just to sign up and then pressured to buy more expensive kits and products to keep your account active. To earn money through this company you need to earn 150 points every month either through personal purchases or sales to other people.

That requirement has to be done every month. That is if you want to stay an active representative for the company. The least expensive package you can buy to earn that 150 points runs in the neighborhood of $215.

There are 7 ways to get paid and these are your own sales where you earn a commission, team bonus, matching bonus and a lot more options. We also looked at their Active 8 compensation plan and it would take about a month to figure out if you can make money or not.

It is a very confusing compensation plan that has levels within levels and you can even sign up a second and a third time to try and maximize those earnings. Whether you get those earnings or not is another story.

Of course no matter how much the founders at Ariix try to disguise it, recruitment always rears its ugly head. To make a lot of money you have to recruit people. If your recruits are not as motivated as you are, then you will not make a lot of money off their lack of sales.

There is always pressure to buy the more expensive packs and if you do, you have an uphill battle trying to recoup that money because to stay active, you have to spend more money.

To get the commissions they promise you, you have to have a 100 point monthly earnings. If you don’t you don’t get paid. It is highly unlikely that you will make any money working at this company despite the many products to sell.

The Pros And Cons Of Ariix

One way to answer the question what is Ariix you need to look at the pros and cons that surround the company. These little items provide a lot of clues as to the nature and character of the company. Here are some of those pros and cons:

what is ariix

  • It is a unique MLM concept. Saves on production, research and development costs
  • Lots of items are available for sale
  • Supposedly high commission rates
  • Experienced MLM people at the helm of the company
  • Different advisory boards and bill of rights
  • Nice website

  • Complicated compensation plan
  • Too many requirements to meet to get paid
  • Expensive products to sell
  • Too much recruiting needs to be done
  • Too much competition from the company and other MLM companies
  • A very slick company
  • High representative failure rate
  • Start up costs cost you an arm and a leg
  • Small market area

As you can see that even though Ariix has two nice concepts, the buying of other MLM companies’ products and the bill of rights, the cons just outweigh those strengths.

The people who make the money are at the top of the company not the ones doing all the heavy lifting.

What is Ariix?

This is a good question. Like every other MLM corporation that has come before this one, Ariix does just enough and structures their business in such a way as to avoid being labeled a scam or a pyramid scheme.

pyramid scheme

While the money flows up, they are still on legal ground defining them as a legitimate corporation. Outside of the legal world, everyone knows that this company exists only to trick people and the ones being scanned are the usual suspects - the ones who sign up and pay their representative fees.

The fact that this company created a bill of rights does not mean much. It is a smoke screen meant to misguide people and mislead them into signing up and paying the company a lot of money to play.

Then the concept of buying other companies products and marketing them is smart but it shows how devious the founders can be. They may have put a new spin on the MLM industry but they kept all the parts that brings the money to them and their bank accounts.

The mass exodus of senior executives from USANA should have had everyone’s radar on red alert. This is a giant red flag and one that says something is up. We know what was up. The founders of Ariix found a new way to scam unsuspecting people in desperate need of a solid paycheck.

We cannot say much of anything that would be nice to describe this company. It is best to avoid it at all costs.

Going The Intelligent Route

And there is an intelligent route to take. It is not giving up on your financial dreams and spending your life at a dreary 9 to 5 traditional job. Though you will need to keep that job until you get this alternative up and running as well as pulling in some nice monthly revenue.

affiliate marketing

Thanks so much for this incredibly indepth and information post. It really has given me a clear picture about the path that I would rather take. this is exactly what people like me and hundreds of others are searching to read on the web where we can compare apples & organges. I am not sure I would have been able to decipher all of that by myself! Can’t wait to read even more on your site.

  • Marylena says:

You made it easy to understand and with great detail. I never really was in favor of MLMs but this new level of it is just too much confusion on top of high entry fees… thanks for doing the research so that we can read it easy

    • Strahinja says:

Thank you for the comment Marylena.

Yes, you are right. MLM is a very risky business model and I do not recommend it.

Hopefully, you can get clear picture about what is ariix and their mlm business opportunity.

I recommend affiliate marketing as a far better alternative.

  • Sharon says:

What an informative article. For someone who has never even heard of Arrix, I certainly feel as if I have a much stronger knowledge of them now.

  • Jeff says:

I must admit I agree with you Arix does not sound to be a good investment of anyone’s time, you know very few people starting out online do well with any type of MLM business.

Affiliate marketing is the best way to go for beginners and even advanced business owners, you do only receive a commission of your sales but it is the safest start-up online that people actually are earning an income.

    Great Information

    • Strahinja says:

      Yes Jeff.

They are another MLM business model and as with any other business model, it is really hard to make any money.

That is the reasons I am doing affiliate marketing and I always recommend it to all interested in makring real money online.

  • marketa says:

    Hi Strahinja,
I too have tried MLM and it’s just so difficult to get the results. Having turned to affiliate marketing, I can say that I absolutely agree with what you are saying.
    Thanks for the great article

  • IHW says:

Seems like a fairly standard MLM to me. The products seem very basic, probably nothing truly innovative in them, just a lot of hype. But they probably sell just enough of them that the company goes under the radar from the FTC. I wouldn’t still be surprised if most of the income within the system comes from the expensive fees. Which would, in fact, make it a pyramid scheme. Thanks for the thorough review!

    • Strahinja says:

      Exactly Jukka.

They create a basic product and they advertise it like its the new world miracle.

Fact is, most of these products are borderline basic and not worth the try.

  • Chezya says:

wow this is amazing, there’s so much clarity and now am really happy i have taken this route. you have really inspired me and given me another reason to press on. Thanks alot

  • Will says:

Affiliate marketing without a doubt has the higher return on investment of your time and money! Great article highlighting the differences between affiliate marketing and MLM marketing. Great work Strahinja. All the best.
